This adorable Twilight appeared and spawned a bunch of variants. I ventured into animated wallpapers on my phone for the very first time with them. I still remember the "Son, I'm disappoint..." expression when my dad picked it up thinking it was his phone only to have dancing Rainbow Dash on the lock screen at a Christmas party.

Lifesize ponies weren't the norm back then, so when they did happen, it was a big deal.
2016
People were disappointed at out final pony here in the McDonalds lineup, or wondering if we'd ever see her as a major character. Buttonbelle was forgotten though. Poor mare.

It was always funny to me when we'd get some random 3rd party licensee with 0 idea about the fandom selling oldschool style ponies with the #brony hashtag like they were trying to get in on the brony train. So many companies did it over the years. I wonder if there were enough 80's pony fans to buy their stuff?
