Howdy y'all!  Tonight I am hosting my "Horses Mouth" interview with Big Jim Miller, Director of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. You know, the one that ran it for most of its life! It will be recorded  LIVE over on our discord server at 7:30 PM PST and will run for a couple of hours. 

 

You can leave a question here in the comments, or on the discord. Ask about specific episodes, ideas that you were wondering if they ever touched on internally, how he dealt with all these years of horse fame and crazy Twitter followers, or whatever else!

Discussion: What Did You Think of the Quality Downgrade for My Little Pony: Make Your Mark?

When we first saw the teaser and Izzy looking like this, I thought for sure there would be a bit about her lacking sleep or something. Apparently it had nothing to do with that. It was just the lighting.

Obviously we weren't going to get movie quality for a series and special, but there was a lot about Make Your Mark that felt... off. The lip syncing was sometimes all over the place, the animation seemed stiff, and Izzy wasn't the only one that suffered from a bit of awkward lighting.

What do you think they can improve for the series later in the year? Make Your Mark is considered episode one, introducing us to what we can expect. Does it need a little bit of TLC though?
