G4 x G5 Music: brambleshadow4 - In Harmony (feat. SpinScissor) [Indie Pop]

This is such a shining example of not only a pure fan song, but also a token of the magic of friendship and Harmony, as brambleshadow4 collabed with SpinScissor to make this very lovely tribute!! Working so well as a fan-made extension of the movie, it is simply the headcanon-ed song that Sunny's father would have sang to her in her fillyhood! Now you are able to listen to it in full thanks to these pony musicians, isn't that just amazing?? The vocals making you melt, the lyrics encompassing the spirit of the G5 movie all while making emotional references to G4, the cute and positive instrumental, all just flows so well and you can't help but fall in love with what they've made together!

I just love this one so much, and that musical style! Listen to it in full, and you will get what I mean when I say that I especially appreciate this as a Genesis fan! The Prog Rock vibes and that incredible keyboards solo, with guitar ensuing, are just such a bliss, along all the creative and poetic vocals in the song! Come bear witness to that amazing progression, as a new world is born instantly from the musician's soul! Not just with the music, but with that cute story in the description too!

New Cutie Mark Spotted Next to the Mane G5 Cast in MLP Magazine

 

We might have a completely new pony joining the mane cast of the G5 movie in the future if this mysterious page in the My Little Pony magazine is any indication. Joining the six marks we already know about is a heart with a horseshoe on it next to Izzys on the top right of that picture up there. This was spotted by @snazzysnowpool over on Twitter.

We still have a long way to go until we get new G5 content, so who knows what Hasbro has in the works. Here's hoping if it is a new pony, that she or he is just as interesting as the other five! 

 

(Note: Apparently another page in the book says the cutie mark is for "you", the reader. Probably false alarm!)

Dashie Music & PMV: SpinScissor - Every Year [Alternative Electronic]

A new powerful release from SpinScissor, this emotional experience is making use of both Dashie vocal samples and vocal chopping, and it's just blowing me away! I'm loving this direction so much, heavily sampling the ponies in the music, and the icing on the cake is that this release also comes with a PMV made for it by the musician himself! So awesome that in addition to music, Spin is getting into PMV editing too!! As a PMV editor myself, that can only make me ecstatic! Such dedication to ponies is just wonderful! And check out those wonderful messages at the end, referencing the show!! True friends may be hard to find, but they exist! And when you will find them, you will see, that Friendship is Magic!
