We have a big reveal for the upcoming G5 Netflix release finally! A bit more interesting than those 2 new poses posted this morning. The executive producer for the project has finally been revealed! Cort Lane over on Twitter posted this picture of himself up, along with this tweet:
It's a poorly kept secret, but time to acknowledge something I'm really proud of... I've been busy Exec Producing the new MY LITTLE PONY ("G5") CG series that's coming to Netflix. #mylittlepony #mlp #MyLittlePonyG5
He has an extensive collection of production credits under his belt, including pretty much all of the cartoon based Marvel stuff over the past decade. How will he handle cartoon horses? We will find out in September!

Joining dogs and Pablo Escobar, a new brand of cocaine is apparently making it's way through the drug world with an image of a ponified donkey as their signature. Apparently it's used to trace where the drug ends up. According to the article, the gang running these is based in the Atacama region of Chile, so I guess someone out there in the deserts of South America is a pony fan?

The Generation 5 MLP movie books have been slowly trickling us new information for the last few days. With that comes this new cover dug out of one of the many listings, showing off all three characters. Hitch and Sunny are rockin new poses, with Izzy using one we've already seen.
Along with this, we have cutie marks on both sides of butts, with Hitch apparently rockin one on the right and Izzy on the left.
Hopefully we get more substantial information soon, but for now this is... something!
