Well everyone, we are finally here in the double digits! It's hard to believe that we are a third of the way through the NATG already! Hopefully, you all have been hanging in there so far and that you're getting the feel for drawing more frequently. If you're starting to feel some fatigue, don't worry. After today's prompt there will be a Makeup Day for those of you looking to catch up or in need of some much needed rest.
Now that we've had several chances to draw our ponies in a variety of situations I'm hoping to have at least some prompts that will give you chances to experiment with scenery, lighting and hopefully more complex pieces. Don't worry though if you don't feel like you're ready for it, take things at a pace that is comfortable to you! In the end, your ponies will be right there with you which is why today's prompt is to Draw a pony on a journey / Draw a pony hitting the road.
For tonight we managed to bring in a total of 87 ponies which brings our grand total up to 973 ponies!

Once you have the image uploaded to Twitter, DeviantArt, wherever try this Touch and hold the image. Depending on what browser you’re using, select the image URL by tapping the links below:

If that doesn't work, you can Touch and Hold an image, open it in a new tab and the URL of that tab should be what you're looking for.
Use that URL in the compiler for your image. Hopefully that works!

20 Artist Training Grounds 9: Long live the sun - Generic-artist
Day Nine; Draw a pony making a terrible mistake / Draw a pony getting a taste of their own medicine. Well, I planned on actually skipping out on this day but ended up making a storyboardish thing for this of Princess Celestia and Nightmare Moon fight in which NM got her magic on the Elements before Celestia. I colored over a sketch and changed the mode as I said this isn't a too much of a high effort thing. Celestia and Nightmare moon belong to Hasbro.

... I thought I could storyboard the entirety of "The World Was Wide Enough" from "Hamilton: An American Musical" in one day. TO BE FAIR, I did. In pencil. Messily. The mistake was thinking I could do that as well as clean it up with a digital pass, but the clock was ticking and I need sleep at some point. I plan to plug away at the clean pass in my downtime and will hopefully be able to submit it on one of the make-up days. Trixie was sorry and offered to help her with something (not specified). As this tends to keep happening Starlight decided to show what its like to be dangled out for a trick. (P.S> Snuggles is a total softie, but nobody's told Trixie (yet) )

Tried something digital for once. I love the idea, but I can see things within this picture that is off balance and wrong. The core idea is in there but I really need to redo this picture after this is all done (did I say that before). Also, if you haven't noticed (although, I'm sure you have) , I completely missed out on the 8th day of the NATG challenge. Had stuff to do in real life but still really want to complete it sometime in the future. Anyway, hope you all enjoy this one and I can't wait to improve on this concept mock cover.

Based off a dear friend of mine, she's an optimist, adventurist, and violinist.
