As the pandemic continues to rage on it looks like some conventions, especially ones scheduled for earlier in the year, are faced with delays. BABSCon announced today that they will be delaying the convention till April 2022 once everything is hopefully under control.

Well, you probably all saw this coming…
Unfortunately, thanks to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have to delay BABSCon once more. Our new dates are April 15–17, 2022.
But, there’s good news to go along with the bad! With effective vaccines expected to become generally available over the course of 2021, we‘re optimistic that we’ll finally be able to have an in-person convention safely by our 2022 dates.
As before, anyone with an existing registration for 2021 will have it rolled over to 2022 automatically. You won’t have to do a thing! If you do require a refund or, if you feel generous, a conversion to a spirit badge or tax-deductible donation, please fill out our refund form at r.babscon.com/refund, and we can help you with that.

The same applies to vendors and panels/events. If we accepted your application for 2020/2021, you’ve also already been accepted for 2022, so you don’t need to do a thing. If you have further questions about vending or panels & events, email us at vendors@babscon.com or events@babscon.com.
In the meantime, we will begin making announcements for upcoming online events, Guest of Honor (re-)announcements, opening the hotel block for reservations, opening of our various applications, announcing what protocols will be in place to ensure we’ll be able to have an experience that is recognizably BABSCon while still protecting all of us from COVID-19, and more so please follow us on our various social media. Finally, we beg all our attendees and fans to stay safe while we all wait: stay home as much as possible, wear a mask and stay socially distanced when you absolutely must leave the house, and please get vaccinated for COVID-19 as soon as possible.
