We don't get nearly enough Ambient in the community, but fortunately FilledSilhoutte is helping with that, by way of his latest release inspired by the popular Tempest Shadow song Last Tempest! A rich soundscape and a blissful atmosphere are transporting us to another world, may it be the world of Tempest's mind as she felt abandoned by her pony friends, or a world of fanfiction imagined by the musician. Such a mastery of the genre is very impressive, and this is such a gift!

A bit of news coming out of the Twitter sphere that got smushed by Trixie day yesterday. John Cena is going all out on promoting the new "Playing with Fire" movie he starred in, complete with loads of love for My Little Pony. The earlier movie trailers appearing on Youtube showed plenty of references to the show, but this all but confirms that its going to play some kind of role in the plot.

Hello, everypony! This is ABagOVicodin, here to remind all my fellow writers that today is the day where Equestria Daily's National Pony Writing Month has begun. From today until November 30th at midnight, start counting those words for the goals that you've set. While the main goal of NaPoWriMo is 50,000 words, remember that any words are a success during this month! An eerie, atmospheric piece released for Nightmare Night, Driven shows what happens when you wander in a mind overtaken by black magic... Distorted sounds and creepy piano are giving that sensation so well, as the whole piece is also giving me much Decaying Monastery vibes, and would make a fine BGM of choice to play when exploring such a monster-filled desolate place in the middle of the countryside. A most refined and appreciated experience!

McDonalds has a 40th anniversary of Happy Meals coming up, and to celebrate the crazy amount of toys they have been serving up to the kids of the world over the last four decades. included with a bunch of characters and ideas from various generations is a My Little Pony toy celebrating the oldschool show.

Among my favorites of late, this musical experience of nearly 12 minutes is enacting the future when Daybreaker took over Equestria and reduced everything to dust, as the fanmade theory goes about the barren wasteland from The Cutie Re-Mark. Shal did incredible putting that concept into music, with a deep bass, doomsday organ, and even mad choirs bringing to life the intensity and terror of the dark realization. Such a masterpiece of atmosphere and concept, it definitely is a new token of Shal's talent!
