Last week we posted about a container ship dumping ponies into the ocean. Apparently these guys are so recognizable, that the scientific community is now using them to study how plastic trash in the ocean travels. It's still not completely known how quick it takes stuff like this to sink, and having brightly colored equines makes studying stuff like that much easier.
I guess pollution has a good side... in combating pollution! Yay?

Valentines Day is a little over a month away, so stores have started stocking up on merchandise for it. This includes a bunch of different valentine options to pass out to all your digital horse waifus this year. You can scan them into the computer or something. It's healthy.
Just hit up any store that carries stuff like this. They all have them.

Lots of Cutie Mark Crew stuff has started popping up on Taobao, hinting at future ponies that are getting the chibification treatment. One seller in particular is unleashing the entire bunch of them over on their store page in individual pieces.
It's looking like this is another big focus for Hasbro this year. Keep an eye out for them in stores!
