    Twilight Sparkle's Name

Where does the Princess of Friendship get her name from? Her parents are called Mr. And Mrs Sparkle and alternately Night Light and Twilight Velvet.

Night Light's family's name is Sparkle and his wife's family's name is Twilight. Neither Night Light nor his son Shining Armor use Sparkle and Twilight as part of their official names except that Night Light sometimes calls himself Mr. Sparkle. Twilight Velvet nowadays rarely uses her family name to refer to herself anymore, but calls herself Mrs Sparkle or simply Velvet.

Twilight Sparkle was originally named by her parents as a reminder that she was part of both her mother's and father's families. Nowadays the name Twilight refers mainly to Twilight Sparkle herself unless she meets a relative on her mother's side. In such cases she calls herself Sparkle.

Every Episode of MLP:FIM is Good!
    By: 5 Iron Badger

All the episodes of FIM are good episodes. Why? Because, the show is about life.

Just like in life nothing and no one is perfect. The characters fail and succeed just like the viewers will. The characters grow and change, but they also stay the same. Even after growing the characters can still fall back into old patterns and habits, just like real people do.

Every episode reveals a new facet of a character's personality and/or explores well known aspects of them. Whether we can relate or not, these are who the characters are. Just like in real life, we don't get to choose how others will be. They are simply who they are.

The episodes do not always follow perfect story structure, just like real life does not. Instead the show is consitent with the processes of life and relationships. It's not so much a show but a glimpse into these individuals lives.

While we may not like or relate to every episode, someone does. So every episode of this glorious show about life and friendship is good, because it is good for somebody.

G4 living on in the comics?
    By: FlareGun45

Now that the series is over, there's nothing that can fulfill the unfinished story arcs of the series, like Zecora's heritage, or Spike's origins, or the Manehattan CMCs. Or is there? I'm sure the writers had some unused story ideas for some of the unsolved story arcs or maybe even cool new stories, but that doesn't mean they'll never see the light of day! IDW comics is continuing on making issues at least up to 100! Maybe even more! The comics are pretty much the only licensed G4 content after the show and Equestria Girls are officially done. Besides, comics are much cheaper than animated media, and comic sales are just gonna go up so Hasbro's gonna get a tonna dough for the comics!

Is the comics the only thing we'll get G4 outta in the future? Maybe, maybe not, because after watching Invader Zim: Enter for Florpus, I had the feeling that alota shows nowadays are getting rebooted in one way or another, and the best ones being made by the ones who created the shows in the first place! There was also Hey Arnold: The Jungle Movie, and the new Rocco's Modern Life movie! So this got me thinkin': in 10 years into the future, what if we returned to G4 with a REUNION SPECIAL, or SPECIALS? Would Hasbro go this route? Well, they're still selling some previous gen stuff in stores, but what if Hasbro decides to make a G4 Reunion Toy Brand and maybe would want some FIM media content to go with it? It's possible! I know that would kinda ruin the finality of the epilogue, but this could work out in great ways, and give a really huge nostalgic feeling to the old brony fans like ourselves! At that time, we'd probably be watching the reunion special with our significant others!

"Hey wifey! I used to watch this show alot when I was younger! See that dragon right there? I was obsessed with him in the past! Oh and that Rainbow pony, I have this friend who is IN LOVE with her! The brony fandom was huge back in the day!"

So just because the show is over, doesn't mean G4 is over! ;) Even if G5 starts, G4 might still stick around for the large impact it gave us!

    The unconfirmed element of Empathy.
    By:indiana

Can you guess who it is? It's Starlight, of course. I can already hear the booing from some of you who don't like her that much but please hear me out. In her most recent episode, A horse shoe-in, Starlight is talking to a plant of all things. Is she really doing that? No. I mean yes, she is talking to the plant but it's not the plant the one that replies back. It's her inner guardian. Most of us have this inner voice with witch we talk but what people may not know is that this inner self can be better or worse with the replies based on the amount of empathy that each of us has. For low empaths like Trixie, the inner voice is kind of crap and won't really help much but for high empaths like Starlight, that voice will almost always give good advice and it's often a bad idea to not listen to it. The way that inner voice works is by emulating the best knowledge received from others during your life. It is constructed by using empathy and this is why it's quality is so dependent on empathy. That episode can sort of be seen like Starlight's finale where she is confirmed as this new element without actually becoming it officially. Good job Starlight.

The Importance of the Songs and Music

MLP FiM and EQG was always a combination of great Animation, Songs, Background Music, the Stories and the Characters. I remember when we had Rainbow Rocks, and it was full of this awesome Music and Songs. It was such a great feel good Music and it really contributed much to the overall Movie. I remember cartoonish Pictures that said that People skipped Songs in older Cartoons, but for My Little Pony they really enjoyed this Stuff. For me it was the same, i really enjoyed when a Song started. I was kind of disappointed when this decreased, i have the feeling that around season 6 and 7 it really decreased and we got less of this. For G5 i really wish that we will get more Music and Songs and it will once again be more present, because i think its a great part of this Series. I feel that its a very important part, at least to me.
