I'm seeing a lot of Spitfire this year. I had no idea she was so popular.
Ponies around the World submissions have officially closed, and we have an armada of horses at major landmarks around earth! Everything from beautiful nature shots to ancient temples showed up this time around. That and some awesome looking custom ponies.
All in all, we had 260 entries. I'm still going through them all though, but expect 3 posts over the next few days.

I'm a storm spotter and I always take these two ponies (Dashie and the G1 Mountain Boy pony named "Tornado") with me in hopes of getting them in a photo with a tornado. Came close twice now this year including this storm on May 28th near Melvern Lake,KS. It had a tornado warning but nothing appeared, here anyway. Sadly this storm would continue on and drop a huge tornado SW of Lawrence, causing major damage there and in Linwood, KS. The storm passed over KCI airport, and the place had to be shut down due to debris that was still being carried by the storm falling on it.

DJ PON3 outside the Gelora Bung Karno (some people often call it GBK) Main Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia, where the 18th Asian Games was held (hence the large banners hanging in the stadium's facade). The monument seen in the middle is the Selamat Datang Monument ("Selamat Datang" is Indonesian for "welcome"), which was completed in 1962 to "welcome" athletes for the 4th Asian Games that was held that year.

This hill which administratively goes into Jaddih Village is still in the Bangkalan area. Approximately 27 kilometers from Surabaya, with the longest distance of 1.5 hours via the Suramadu Bridge.

Such a great day when I had met with the best 3rd major in the world. Yes, Tri Rismaharini (right) is the current mayor of Surabaya with her husband Djoko Saptoadji.
The mayor's first impression when I gave the Starlight Glimmer figurine, she obviously looks puzzled, but by her hospitality, she accepts to take a picture with my figurine and the figurine becomes a silent witness that the figurine has been held by the most important person.
