Einarx's dubstep is always awesome, but especially so when combined with interesting compositional design. That's the case here with some strong arabian influence to the whole track. The drop itself is full of a great mix of different sounds, and is arranged in a way that keeps things interesting, but also with the power indicative of Tempest Shadow. Check it out below!

Some gorgeous chilled out tunes here from Totalspark and eksoka! Totalspark's piece is full of lovely soft synth sounds and reverberating bells that play some beautiful melodies as steady drum & bass percussion resonates throughout. The track from eksoka has a bit more energy to it, but is just as engrossing as it flows through lovely combinations of different pluck-y synths that are all composed excellently. Check both tracks out below!

With the entire season already revealed in synopsis form, we have a pretty good idea of what each upcoming episode will be. Of course, synopsis don't reveal everything, and lots of hype can be generated from a few of these. It's going to be a good season if half of these live up to what they could be!
And so, we discuss. Season 8 happens in a little over four days, and while some of these may be past a mid-season hiatus, it's still worthy of speculating. Which one are you most excited for? What are you hoping happens based on the synopsis?

Germany is doing one of those Friendship Tour events that have happened over in Europe across various countries these last few years. If it's anything like the last few, it will include people dressed as cartoon horses with a bunch of games and stuff for kids to buy.

The Estimated Monthly Comic Sales for January and February 2018 are out! So how well did the Ponies fair in those two months?
Well in January there was a five issue event series featuring characters from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. However in February, there was no such event, so the ponies are in a much better position.
Unfortunately these posts are dedicated to looking at IDW's Sales and for My Little Pony in particular. Otherwise I would be going on, and on, and on about Jay Fosgitt's Original Graphic Novel Bodie Troll! How amazing Bodie Troll is. The GN's wonderful sales numbers to comic shops. And how it is the perfect comic book for anyone who likes comedy (of errors), fantasy, and adventure!

Since I completely forgot about Glimmy and Glam and her big celebratory day, we are going to go ahead and delay Starlight Day until the 23rd of the month. This means you have until Friday to get your Starlight submissions in.

This synopsis reminds me of an old fanfic I read once. Definitely one of the best of the early days. Maybe I'll give it another read and see how it holds up all these years later?

A couple of awesome orchestral tracks here! First up the Balefire Symphony have a heavy orchestral/rock hybrid track about Red Eye, an antagonist from Fallout Equestria. There's a great mix of guitar and strings, plus some solid percussion backing it up. The second track from Lucas Gimeno is far more focused on composition, with piano being the main instrument throughout the track, as lovely melodies play throughout to symbolise the dreams of Scootaloo as she flies through the air with Rainbow Dash. Check them both out below!

Twilight does make some really good points here. Honestly, Shining should be impressed, she managed to take down three of the princesses and almost took over Equestria. If anything you can learn some tactics from the bad guys so you can defend from future attacks, you know?
