Some unfortunate news from the staff behind Legends of Equestria. Due to the cyberattack that hit them some time back they are unable to make their open access deadline this month, delaying it to September. While it's sad to see it delayed at least it isn't for too much longer!

This is some pretty unique stuff for the fandom! First up The Wonderbolts Band has gotten together and made an awesome reggae-style rock cover of the most recent song, with some terrific vocals, a super strong instrumental and an awesome guitar solo at the end. In the second spot, Sprocket has finally released his new album - The Princess Variations, and this part of it features some awesome classic-style indie rock. The vocals especially are quite interesting, and the instrumental is full of some lovely vibes throughout. Check them both out below!

For six years, the summer has seen hundreds of My Little Pony fans from all over Europe and beyond travelling to Ludwigsburg. This year was no exception as GalaCon held their sixth convention on July 28 and 29 at the Forum Am Schlosspark.
This year I was joined by fellow EQD staff member "User", who flew in all the way from accross the Atlantic, to report on the festivities of the 2017 edition of the convention.

Jackie Lombardi, formerly known as just Jackie, hasn't been too active on Youtube, with most uploads coming over on soundcloud. They've certainly been improving their skills though, as this new track is certainly something! Featuring a heap of awesome vocal samples and pretty much embodying Pinkie's style, this is a super fun track that has a bunch of really cool synths and percussion to boot. While a good portion of the Brony fandom is focused in on BronyCon and the tidbits of news coming out of Baltimore Maryland this weekend, there are other events going on around the country. In this case, one of the larger conventions being held this particular weekend, aside from the two in Baltimore, is in historic Boston, Massachusetts. Specifically it is Boston Comic Con, which is held at the Boston Convention & Exposition Center.
For those of you who have gone to PAXEast, the building up above should look very familiar. For those of you who haven't, it should be known far and wide as the place where Ducktales Remastered was announced to the world!
So, what brought two staff members of Equestria Daily to Boston Comic Con on a cloudy Saturday? Well, aside from the old but true adage of "misery loves company" there were two specific reasons. The first was to check in on our friend IDW Comic Artist Sara Richard. As for the second... there is a celebrity guest at the convention who has a knack for singing about being in heads like a catchy song.

Did I tell you guys I was actually pretty excited for this prompt? It's always fun to see what people like and learn all about a bunch of media I didn't know about till now. You guys seemed to enjoy it as well as we managed to accumulate 132 ponies tonight bringing us up to 2456 ponies altogether! Huzzah!
More will be uploaded in the morning! I went to bed a little early due to a splitting headache so watch out for the rest when I wake up.
With another exciting day of the ATG done and gone we have entered our 15th day meaning that we're now halfway through this marathon! I hope you all have been learning a lot and having fun through this huge undertaking. As for today's prompt I want to give you guys another opportunity to try something different! Ponies aren't the only species in Equestria and as an artist you might find yourself wanting to explore these different races. Thus for today's prompt I would like you to Draw a pony as another species / Draw a pony making a change.
