Discovery Family Running Live Q&A With Tara Strong Tomorrow

At 2:15 PM EST tomorrow, Discovery Family will be hosting a live Q&A over on Facebook live with Tara Strong. You can bring in whatever question you wish to ask Twilight Sparkle's VA, with the usual obvious limits of course.

Music: Ponytronic - Values [Drum & Bass]

Ponytronic's been releasing yearly songs about Princess Luna that fit into a series, and this is apparently the final piece in the series. With clean production, a nice combination of soft synths, strong percussion and cute little background sounds help to make a pretty nice soundscape. The drums in particular are a pleasure to listen to, and the foley at the start and end is used very cleverly. Give it a listen below the break!

Community Soapbox #25 - Embracing Negative Opinions, OC Ponies, FlutterxDiscord, and More!

Can we handle a week without Celestia layin down the wisdom again? Seems like she was pretty popular last week, if a little vulgar.

Since some people have been asking, how does quality control go into these? Typically we want to keep it really open for all. Similiar to a magazine's letters from the reader section, we want everyone, even those without perfect US grammar (be they kids or non fluent English), or those with unpopular opinions, to have a chance.  There is a bit of cutting and pruning of about 3-4 a week, but for the most part it's pretty open.

Discovery and Hasbro Ringing NASDAQ Opening Bell to Celebrate MLP on Wednesday

Hasbro and Discovery seem to be just as excited about pony coming back as we are! Along with all the promos and little teasers, Hasbro and Discovery are also going to ring the opening bell tomorrow at the NASDAQ to celebrate MLP! Sure, not as exciting as a new promo, but even on the serious business side of things the two companies are hyping things up.

Discovery Family has released the second in their series of countdowns until the big release this weekend of season 7! Below the break, get some Flutterhype, silent Spike, and agreeable Twilight!

Music: TCB - Diamonds/Stones [Future Bass + Orchestral]

TCB is back after releasing their recent EP with another 2-track special. Both contained in the one video, the first is a future bass banger whilst the second is a more sedate orchestral piece. Throughout both there is some excellent use of vocal chops, as I'm coming to expect from this artist, and also some pretty neat bass design interspersed throughout the first track. Give them both a listen in the video below the break and help TCB celebrate 500 subs!
