Spike Day is quickly approaching and so far we've gotten 25 emails for his big day! Not too bad, he's actually tracking ahead of where some of our other appreciation days were at this point I think. Still, it's not enough to make it a special day for the little guy so we're counting on you guys to flood us with content!

Quicksilver's nailed it here with a heavy and enthralling instrumental track about Ahuizotl. With some great guitar work pulling off some nice melodies and some solid drums backing it up, it's a bit different to have something from him without vocals, but it definitely still works well. News and possible news keeps coming in as William Anderson, the creator of all the delightful BGM on FiM, posted this to Twitter! It appears that production of the BGM for season 7 is now underway, meaning that season 7 is nearing completion as BGM comes towards the end of the production line.
This means DHX will start to get completed episodes in the can soon, lining up with the spring launch period. Looks like things are good!

Drum & bass producers bain pain and Intersekt have combined here to produce a lusciously designed neurofunk remix of an alternative rock track from duo StealingShad3Z and Slight Amiss. Featuring some awesome basses, drums and guitar sampling, as well as great use of the vocals, it's pretty neat how well they've flipped the original on its head. This track is the last of the pre-releases for Ponies at Dawn's Amity album, and the livestream of the album will be happening soon (from 3PM EST/1PM AZ) so make sure to tune in here. Going into the fringe a bit here again! Before you freak out and send angry emails for lack of pony, we won't be covering this 100% here, just a post or two. I think it's worth it with how long we had pony episodes from Dave Polsky.
ANYWAY, his new series has been officially uploaded by Youtube in nine, eleven minute episode blocks. Expect an almost psychadelic experience with video game sounds, wild colors, and bizarre inhabitants. Color me intrigued.
