Please tell me this isn't a one shot comic.
Well… aside from the revealed cover for this issue by Tony Fleecs being awesome—which it is (I seriously expect this cover to be gone shortly after the Black Friday sale starts on tonyfleecs.com)—this cover immediately reveals one very important new piece of information. No, it is not the fact the the IDW MLP Freindship is Magic logo looks all brand new and snazzy, we already knew a redesign was underway last month.
No the big news is that rising Marvel Comic Writer James Asmus has joined the MLP writing staff with this issue!
We've seen artists and writers go from the MLP Comics to Marvel, but we haven't seen the reverse happen before! I seriously wonder what this means for the future.

As Amazon let us know a little while ago—how they get the product information for upcoming books is something that I try not to think about—the eighth Trade Paperback volume of Friends Forever will be coming out in February of 2017!
The volume will collect issues 29 – 33 of the series. Which is another collection of five comics… I wonder why IDW made this change with the number of issues in the trade.
Eh, something to ponder for a later date. You'll be able to find the official solicitation from IDW after the break!

It's official. Black is evil.
With less than a week before this book is released digitally, we get some more information about what is going to be containined in the Guardians of Harmony Annual! And what better way is there to start off Equestria Daily's Exclusive reveal of February's 2017's My Little Pony Comic Solicitations?
If I were to listen to Seth, I would have stared out with Friends Forever #37, as opposed to saving the the absolute best comic for last!

Another show song cover from Elias Frost, this one continues his series of covering some songs from the show in German, following on from previous covers of The Spectacle and The Magic Inside. This is one of the older songs from the show but its iconic melody hits almost right away, and overall this is a pretty cool reinterpretation of it. With a generally quite relaxed feel to it, the energy does pick up a little towards the end as the piece reaches its climax, but for the most part it's a calmer experience than most of Elias' other works. -
Amazon has started to reduce prices on everything pony in preparation for the usual holiday rush. Quite a few of the big ticket things we've been raving about this last year are slowly joining it. I'm sure the actual week leading up to Black Friday will be crazy, but right now a bunch of things are already super cheap.
Nightmare Moon up there for example is only $14! Suddenly I feel bad for paying $25 at Gamestop.
Anyway, almost ALL of the major items can be found below, but you can dig through the entire pony section over here. It will keep adding new sale items over time I'm sure.

Looks like the Advertising Team behind The MLP Musical: Rainbow Rocks is really ramping up the presence of the show in the country. Either that or more people are aware of what's going on and are sending it into our inbox. But I digress! Earlier today, the stars of The MLP Musical: Rainbow Rocks were interviewed live on Singapore's Kiss92 FM broadcast radio station.
During the interview they discussed the trials of playing a horse while actually being a human, the overall plot of the musical, and a certain adult male fanbase. Gee I wonder what that last one could be about.

Originally this cover was producer by Fire Frets as the winner of one of 4everfree's competitions a whole while back. In honour of Applejack Day over here on EQD (albeit a little late!), 4everfree has remastered it, and fit the violin of the orginal back into it as well. The new coat of paint has done it good, with a really professional sound to it, and it's definitely worth checking out if you want more of this piece!
