A few days ago we reported on a new vinyl record releasing with a bunch of top pony songs on it. We now have a complete listing of the songs. It's also going to be a limited run with only 2000 copies, so they are touting it as a collectable as is the norm in the newly exploding vinyl industry.
Expect to see it hit indie stores around the USA on 11/25.

Frozen Night is back again with another remake of one of their older pieces, Fragile Existence. With a beautiful little piano and strings build up, epic drums start to hit 2 minutes in, instantly raising the impetus of the track. The rest of the instrumental also becomes a lot more epic, and the introduction of guitar helps to really complete the piece. If you want some epic orchestral metal, make sure to check this out! -

A bunch of new brushable playsets and figures have started making the rounds.
We have zero confirmation if these are actually going to be the lineups going forward or what will change, as they are apparently from early merchant releases to big stores to give them a heads up on what possible lines to buy for the coming year. They are pretty clearly marked NOT FINAL, though we do already have a few of the final ones in the Brushable section. Get the full set at our new model brushable section. Only Lyra and Cheerilee haven't popped upt here yet.

Over the course of this year we've heard of comic artist Jenn Blake making a farewell tour of pony cons this years. While many of us come and go from the convention scene, to move on to other projects or time doesn't allow it, it has come to our attention that there is another reason Jenn is leaving the con scene.
She has brain cancer.
A GoFundMe has been set up for her that appears to have been confirmed as legit by Josh Haber, PVL, and Jim Miller. The fundraiser is to help her raise money for her treatment, for without it she will die from her disease.

Hey guys! So I don't have much editorial experience, but when Seth asked if I wanted to give my thoughts on the top songs from the season just gone, I figured why not! The team over at DuoCartoonist is working hared on their upcoming "Choices" animation, and have a brand new song up to celebrate it's progress. It's upbeat, and kinda makes me want to play a bit of Kingdom Hearts or something with the general vybe.

Prince is back with another track from his latest album, Reinvent. Featuring scream vocals from NRGPony, this is a redux of one of his classic tracks from a few years ago. As usual, the mix here is fantastic and the song itself is really well polished. Definitely one of the heavier tracks on the album, it's still pretty accessible for a song with screaming vocals, and it's pretty awesome to hear it redone at a higher level of quality. -
