Hasbro Running Friendship Day Charity Event on July 30th, Plus Press Gallery!

July 30th marks the start of Friendship Day, and Hasbro is going all out on it with an event taking place over on social media sites. All you need to do is some kind of good deed for the day, then hop online and drop #friendshipisMagic and #FrienditForward on social media talking about it. Hasbro will donate $1 for every one, up to a cap of $50,000 to generationOn

So get to it! Lets make sure they hit that cap.

Spotlight Music: Socks / King of the Horde / Forward

Ponies in socks get some celebration with a bizaare video. For whatever reason that one makes me want to listen to Alien Ant Farm or Blink 182. Following that, we have Dragon Quest getting some love with another one of those giant progressive metal tracks. That seems to be the norm now days! And finishing it we have Trance, a genre I haven't seen in brony in forever.

Amazon Has Exclusive on Guardians of Harmony Before September - Entire Lineup Now Pre-Orderable!

Some interesting news coming out of the Hasbro press event at SDCC. It sounds like Guardians of Harmony is actually an Amazon exclusive until after September. While some retailers are scooping up stragglers and leaks, these aren't technically available elsewhere until the date passes. After their initial release, they will be available elsewhere. This explains why they seem to difficult to get!

As of right now, Amazon has every single piece listed for pre-order with a September 1st release date, including updates on old listings. If these go as fast as they have been going these past few weeks, chances are they won't have many.

Roan Pony RPG Officially Releases

The pen and paper pony RPG, Roan, has officially released online as of a few days ago. You may have run into them when we posted their Kickstarter a while back, which managed to clock $6,000 over it's $15,000 Kickstarter goal.

If you are a fan of tabletop games and want to do some steampunky ponyworld stuff, the full 260 page starter manual can be bought over on their website. A lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into the project. The art in the book alone would be worth way more than they are asking. Hopefully you can all find some fun with it!

Toy Review: SDCC Special Edition Guardians of Harmony Fluttershy and Discord

San Diego Comic con begins today, and as with every year, expect an absolute deluge of news concerning the event. The Illustrious Q wrote up a guide on the entire convention for those attending or interested in what times news might flood out. Needless to say, it's a big year for pony!

The new big toy line this year is Guardians of harmony, and Hasbro came out swinging with an SDCC exclusive. Fluttershy and Discord should be available on the floor if you can brave the massive booth lines, or eventually online. We will get updates posted as they appear on their Hasbro Toy Shop site.

Anyway, time to dive in! Expect pictures of just about every angle. I kinda went a little crazy there this time.

Toys Spotted: Wonderbolts Brushables at Target, Guardians of Harmony Celestia, Nightmare Moon, and Discord at Gamestop

Surprise! Apparently SDCC dropping these Wonderbolts meant they are now officially released. The packs above were spotted at Target, and the two pack with Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie join them. As always, call first before you make the trip.

And if you are like me and struggling to find a Nightmare Moon that isn't rocketed up to 40 bucks on Amazon, a surprising location is apparently carrying her, Celestia, and Discord. All three were found at a Gamestop store in Pueblo, Colorado.
