For anyone following any of the major comic book news websites, IDW has announced that they're creating a new shared comic universe based on their licensed Hasbro Properties. Kicking off this September with with a 5 part, bi-weekly crossover mini-series titles Revolution.
When reached for comment specifically about My Little Pony possible involvement in the crossover, IDW MLP Comic editor Bobby Curnow had this to say:
Not so much a crossover as a shared universe. At this time there’s no plans to include MLP, but it’s possible.
So we won't be seeing the awesomeness that is Snake Eyes riding on Rainbow Dash as they charge into battle to take out Deceptions disguised as Cobra Rattlers quite yet. But this does open up possibilities for potential crossovers.

The year is 2010, and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic has just hit the internet for the first time. In this alternate reality, the six main ponies are all male instead of female. People are talking about it everywhere... but are they loving it? Does it have the potential to be the dominating force it had with an all female mane cast?
Discussion time! Do you think you would have been as absorbed by pony if the genders were all reversed originally? Everything else is kept intact, with Rarity chasing his fashion career and Fluttershy taking care of animals. Would it have as much appeal?

Looks like pony managed to hold steady over the Memorial Day weekend as Applejack's Day Off pulled in 229,000 viewers, slightly down from the week before which saw 252,000 viewers in total. With the season inching closer to being half over let's hope that numbers remain consistent from here on out.Thanks to Andrew and Dominick for sending in the info!

Equestria Girls Mini apparently has a glittery variant set on the way if you plan to collect em' all. These guys were spotted on eBay, so there is a good chance they will be arriving in mass some time later this year.
