Someone decided to include the printer company "Canon" in a tweet about the Greatest and Most Powerful pony, and they decided to hop on board and celebrate it. Would you buy a Trixie themed printer? I think I'm up for this licensing deal.

Marks in Time - All the Colors of the Rainbow!

My Little Pony CCG has six colors, and the last two sets each had cards featuring 5 different two-color combinations; for example, Blue/Yellow or Pink/Purple. The new set Marks in Time arrives in June, and will include the last 5 color combinations, so that all 15 two-color combos have representation in the game!

This week MLP: CCG is celebrating Rainbow Week, using the whole "Rainbow Dash finally getting into the Wonderbolts" thing as an excuse to spoil a bunch of two-color cards! It only seemed right to give EQD five exclusive card reveals as part of the fun, one from each color combo, so head on down below the break to see them in all their pastel-colored glory.

Mid-Season Hiatus Confirmed - Starts June 11th

A new press release sent out from Discovery Family has revealed what we all kind of expect already, there will be a mid-season hiatus this year. Starting on June 11th, we won't have pony episodes again until some time in the Fall or Winter.

It seems like most of you prefer this method though if the recent poll is any indication. The good side to this, is that we won't have a year long gap before pony starts. That always dampens things for the long run, and it's good to see them not going that route anymore.

4DE Prototype Plushies Posted By Artist on Deviant Art - Flutterbat, Maud Pie, and CMC

PlanetPlush over on Deviant Art was apparently hired by 4DE to help design a few plushies for their upcoming lineups. These guys date back all the way to 2013! Unfortunately it looks like they were never used. I would have been happy with that Maud Pie too!

Variety, Dateline, and Morning Star are all reporting that My Little Pony: The Movie will be a part of Lionsgate's film sales slate this year at the 2016 Film Festival.

Which also just so happened to start today.

Lionsgate's film sales slate is to attract international distributors for the film, so that it can be shown in various countries around the world.

Equine Etymology Video Explains All You Need To Know!

Calpony loves knowledge so when a video comes out explaining all the little things about the etymology of equine words and phrases he is all over it! Ever wonder why the play in FiM was called 'Hinny of the Hills'? Well, this video will explain it to you!

It's not strictly pony, yes, but it gives us some insight into what our pony friends are based off of and might give some of you authors out there the correct words to describe equines in your own stories! Considering how confused we are over proper horse anatomy terms this might be helpful.
