Well, it's been a long, Long, LONG time in the making, but starting next month Panini Comics Mexico will begin publishing a Mexican Spanish Translation of IDW's My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Comic Series!
The release schedule will be monthly, and each comic will apparently be 48 pages in length. So that could mean they are doing two Friendship is Magic issues per release or adding in a Micro Series/Friends Forever issue.
For those of you who live in Mexico, you'll be able to pick up the comics at your local comic book shops when the become available. We will announce which week that will be once Panini Announces it.
Also, if anyone happens to know where to order these things online, and if they happen to ship internationally, please let us know in both the submit box and in the comments below!

For those of you who like visual novel dating games, the game My Little Sweet Heart team has updated their demo of the project that they showed off at Thailandponycon 2016! It mainly focuses on the Rainbow Dash story at the moment, but it does seem to be coming together quite well.
I didn't get a chance to play all the way through so always approach these with caution. I do know that when I downloaded it and ran it that my computer didn't implode so that's good at least! Find the download link below.

Seems like today is the day for news from the MLP Movie! It seems like both Michael Pena and Uzo Aduda are in talks for toles for the movie! Abuba is known for her Emmy win from the show Orange is the New Black while Pena was starred in Ant Man.
Looks like the movie is really ramping up its star appeal!

As we all saw recently, "The Cutie Map" was recently shown as a nomination for the Hugo Awards, which are a Science Fiction/Fantasy awards ceremony that apparently has quite the history with its nomination process. Horizon on Fimfiction provided a history of the Hugo awards as well as what this means for the public perception of pony on his blog, which I'll link after the break.In the meanwhile, what do you guys think this means for pony? Will it start to be seen in more award categories much like how the music was in previous seasons? Is this all irrelevant and just part of an overarching drama? Do we most likely have no idea? I'll stick with the latter. -
The My Little Pony movie has been bumped up from it's original November release date to a new, one month earlier date of October 6, 2017. According to Deadline, this puts it in competition with an untitled Warner Bros film, and another one of those Marvel movies.
I don't think this will change too much on the production side, but it's definitely the first time we have ever seen a deadline on pony bumped. Consider me surprised and more than alright with it!
