Sony Rampaging Through Youtube with Copyright Claims on Remixes, and Anything with Pony Songs

Another era of copyright claims on Youtube has once again begun. Sony Music Entertainment (SME) is currently nailing tons of musicians and general Youtube channels with copyright claims on anything at all involving pony music. Not everything has been hit yet, but the claims are still continuing to build.

Here on EQD, Sony actually managed to claim the San Diego Comic Con panel from 2012 for an army of bronies singing the My Little Pony theme. Yeah, it goes that deep.

Equestria Daily BABSCon Plans - Panels To See Us At!

Because BABScon has an awesome OC pony, and totally not for any other reason, we tend to invade them every single year. This time around we have a whopping 10 people in attendance, from oldschool semi-retired bloggers to our newer people that run the editorials and do art.

We will all be around for the entire event if you want to say hi (look for a short italian dude in a Trixie hat or listen for a weirdly high pitched voice), or hit up our panel at 4:00 PM on Friday. If you haven't been to our previous BABSCon panels, expect artists drawing your stuff, questions about anything EQD or pony related, and general madness.

Outside of that, you can bother us on-on-one a bit better at their Meet and Greet on Sunday at 11:45 AM.

As for people that aren't attending, we have interviews lined up with just about every show staffer there, so keep an eye on out! For specific details head on down below the break.

Exclusive: My Little Pony: The Crystal Empire Comic Adaptation Solicitation

Talk about an exciting reveal yesterday with both Friendship is Magic #44 and Friends Forever #30 having variant covers dedicated to ROM! With the solicitations being a nice added bonus for everyone to enjoy!

But there is one last item list for the July 2016 Solicitations, a little trade paperback adaptation of the story that introduced Celestia's favorite hubby from an alternate universe, a shadow pony villain called an unbrum, a smoke villain who only screams about crystals.

Oh and Spike saved the day.

Joining the Nightmare Night figures from earlier, Equestria Girls Mini and Explore Equestria have also been listed over at Entertainment Earth. There are three specific sets to choose from in this one.

Marks in Time - Pony Problems and Draconequus Dilemmas

What are these crazy sideways cards you see before you? They're the brand new Dilemma cards that are part of the next My Little Pony Collectible Card Game set, Marks in Time, coming this spring!

They look so topsy-turvy because they are vertical while they're in your hand, and then when you put them into play they are turned horizontal... as a new Problem that can be moved to and confronted, often with big benefits for you. And as part the theme of Marks in Time, each Dilemma is set in one of the apocalyptic alternate timelines that Twilight and Spike visited during the Season 5 finale, including the changeling takeover and the Crystal Empire's invasion.

There was some speculation that it was an episode, much like Gift of Maud Pie and it's book adaptation, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
