Pony History of the Day: Madmax Comics

During the earliest days of the fandom when everything was fresh and new, and the world of weird trends in full swing, one lone artist was the queen of all things comedy. If something happened in the show, you could expect three glorious panels the day after. If a new pony meme was taking over on 4chan, the comic was inevitable.

Madmax was basically the Pixelkitties of old. Everyone loved her style and humor. Everything she did was a celebration of what we were all involved with at the time.

Unfortunately, she has been silent on Deviant Art for over a year now. Hopefully some day we will see her great return!

BronyCon Welcomes Back IDW MLP Comic Artist Tony Fleecs!

BronyCon has announced their first guest for this year's con, and what a guest he is! Ladies and gentlemen, if you haven't had a chance to meet Tony Fleecs you're in for a real treat. Making his third consecutive appearance at BronyCon, every attendee once again has the chance to meet this incomparable artist!

The CMC Are Going Gangsta - Bigger and Better

Chick this up to another thing I didn't even know I wanted. Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, and Apple Bloom got their very own rap video. That screencap above doesn't show it, but Scootaloo is rockin some serious bling.

Coloratura Brushable Listed on My Little Pony Website With New Explore Equestria Line

Coloratura is finally getting some love from the main My Little Pony toy side, albiet with a shiny coat of paint. This one was spotted over on the My Little Pony official website, along with Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie in the Explore Equestria lineup.

Here's to hoping we get a normal one too! Or better yet, some Funko lovin for our new favorite music pony. I wouldn't mind a normal, and countess variant there.

Starlight Glimmer and Coco Pommel Figures Heading to McDonalds February 16th!

McDonalds is once again running a My Little Pony / Transformers promo, complete with new toys and more new ponies! From the image above, it's looking like Coco Pommel, Starlight Glimmer, and possibly Sugar Belle or Suri Polomare are all going to be included in this wave.

We've called McDonalds to see where exactly these are going, but all we got was that there are, indeed, more ponies on the way. Based on previous years though, it wouldn't be too surprising to see these definitely hitting the USA first, then traveling to Australia and UK.

And in other news, the masks are heading to Germany. Hopefully you guys can get some figures too though!

Equestria Girls Mini Figures Now Available at Walmart

With Amazon's stock of Equestria Girls mini figures being completely wiped out (though you can still get them for gouged prices here!), many people are looking to grab them at nearby stores. So far, Target has been the only main location in the USA, with Smuyths being the prime target for the UK. We now have another to add to the totem poll. Walmart is stating to fill their shelves up.

If you just want Pinkie Pie and don't like driving, she is currently available on the Target website. All figures are labeled in store only. 

Regardless of where you go, expect different stock everywhere so be sure to call in before making the trip.

The Top 10 BEST My Little Pony Fan Animations of 2015!

Another year down, and another giant amount of fandom awesomeness to sort into lists for everyone out there that either didn't follow it, or wants a refresher. Every season of pony, standards and expectations increase by the aging fandom. This section right here tends to evolve the most.

We saw some incredible works this year from both big teams and single artists in the animation world. Of all the top 10's we have ever done, this was by far the hardest. We wanted to add so many more, and things were added and removed constantly for over an hour, but we think this is a good set!
