Ponies Around the World has officially come to a close! This year we got a whopping 390 submissions, though we are still going through them. We've seen just about everywhere visited this year, from the deepest jungles to the biggest buildings. Ponies are EVERYWHERE.

This is Firefly enjoying a rather cloudy day at Flinders St Station in Melbourne, Australia. For those who don't know, this station is one of Australia's most historic buildings and is still being used as a station today. Got a few weird looks from people as i was holding up the plush pony, but it was fun!

Here's a picture of Rainbow Dash at the Mineirão Stadium, where the infamous 7 x 1 happened between Germany and Brazil in 2014. It's about a 10 minute bus ride from home and I can actually walk to it from my university, which is what I did for the picture.

My first submission for Ponies Around The World 2016 starts with Vinyl in Macau, with the background of the Ruins of St. Paul Cathedral. This 17th-century cathedral, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005, was built from 1602 to 1604. However, it was destroyed by a fire in 1835 during a typhoon.

Next, Vinyl was at the pavilion of Victoria Peak in Hong Kong Island with a beautiful scenic view of the city. From here, you can spot two of HK's prominent skyscrapers; the 2 International Finance Centre (center) and the International Commerce Centre (left) which is currently the tallest structure in HK.

Recently, I had the opportunity to spend five weeks as part of my employment training new staff in India. Whilst I was there, I decided I'd take one of my POP vinyls of Rainbow Dash to take some creative photos for my partner given the great time and distance between us. My Indian colleagues also enjoyed the pictures, mostly because of the contrast between RD and the landscape. This picture was taken infront of the Gateway of India in Mumbai, built to commemorate the visit of King George V in 1911.
