Reports are starting to come in that Hot Topic's exclusive cover for MLP:FiM #26 are starting to show up in retail Hot Topic locations.
Having just been to my local Hot Topic—and picked up 3 copies—I can confirm that this report is accurate.
For those of you wondering, the cover is still not listed on Hot Topic's website.

Animation is literally the reason why we are all here. If DHX and friends didn't bring us the pony, we never would have happened in the first place. Luckily, our fandom has some of that same talent producing the amazing stuff that gets us through these incredibly painful hiatus each year. Fan animations take a LONG time to make. I don't think some people realize the amount of blood, sweat, and tears that go into a lot of the bigger projects out there.
Just look at that pink fluffy unicorn dancing on rainbows up there. Fandom SUPERIORITY.
And so, we celebrate it! 2014 had so many amazing ones, getting it down to just 10 was near impossible. Of all the categories this series of posts has and will have, it was the one we feared doing the most. Obviously, your personal 10 might not agree with ours, but I don't think there is a top list out there that satisfies everyone.

A company called Spirit Hoods, specializing in ridiculously fluffy hats, has a new line on the horizon dedicated to ponies. The image above is a prototype of what we can expect to see some time this year. Chances are, this is a result of the feedback they received on their previous Facebook message asking for pony pointers.
Will they follow the trend every other company does and pump out the mane 6 first? Only time will tell.

I wonder why it took so long for this to happen? Someone over on Deviant Art going by the name of Directorstark has created a remote control flying Rainbow Dash plane. She hasn't yet taken to the skies, but the concept overall seems interesting. Here's to hoping her maiden flight isn't as crashy as the normal Dash.

Some more news out of Malaysia for our Asian Bronies out there! Recently The Friendship Express launched their website for their convention and they have an announcement to make about their venue. While the venue will be closing after the Chinese New Year for renovations the mall itself won't be closing until April, allowing the convention to squeak in at the end of March. Thank goodness they won't have to change locations so soon.
