Destiny. Now there's a word I have very mixed feelings about. Boiling down its most basic definition, destiny is the predetermined, usually inevitable or irresistible, course of events.
Was Sombra always destined become both a king and a villain? The comics seem to support this idea, but if it were absolutely true then we wouldn't have an alicorn Trixie in the Reflections universe. Twilight would be an alicorn there as well.
Which begs the question of what is destiny. Is it something pre-ordained or is it something that is ultimately chosen on an individual level? And once it has ultimately arrived, can one change their fate?
