Ponibooru Film Night
Poster artist DaisyHead here. This weeks film is an interesting one. It's called
Frankenstein Conquers the World. What makes it interesting is it's original name,
Frankenstein vs Baragon. Making this a Kaiju monster flick featuring Frankensteins
monster... Frankenstein. The monster counts as Frankenstein, He's Victors son. He
get's the surname. The movie begins when a heart is taken from the lab of Doctor
Frankenstein and is kept in a lab in Hiroshima, where it's subjected to nuclear radiation
from the Little Boy nuclear device, mutating into a boy with a large, flat topped head.
Several years later a feral boy is found causing problems for a community and is detained
only to break free of his bonds and grow into a giant monster. Then literally for no reason
Baragon shows up and they start duking it out. Really Baragon is just thrown in but it's still
awesome in a really cheesy b-movie kind of way.
