Today's episode was a really interesting look at what Twilight might have become if she never really made any friends: a recluse that just studied endlessly. It was a really interesting episode and I admit I teared up a little at the emotional ending. A very good episode indeed!

Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures references My Little Pony
'In the independent game, Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures, the level "Happy Fun Candy Time", references My Little Pony: Friendship is magic. In the beginning of the game, James Rolfe, the AVGN, enters the level and says
"What...the...f*ck? It's like a giant unicorn had severe diarrhea everywhere!"
later in the game, James Rolfe meets the boss of the level...which happens to be...yup...a poor version of Princess Celestia who quotes lines from Giygas from the video game Earthbound.
James says as he meets "Celestia", "F*cking knew it!"
Celestia says, "I...am...so...happy! You will stay in here forever and ever and ever!"
Plus, the level has cameo appearances of Boomstick and Wiz from Screwattack's Death Battle and Nathan James Barnatt aka Keith Apicary. Though, the cameo of Wiz and Boomstick is self explanatory for the fact that one of their episodes featured Starscream against Rainbow Dash with Dash winning.'
