Yar me mateys! Ye didn't think the pirate takeover of EqD was done without raiding by friendly pirates, aye? The pirate crew led by Captain Dash have landed at the site and have 'negotiated' with us admins (mainly Cal) for a little bit of ye time. They have been monitoring our operations and making sure we are sufficiently piratey.
As we are a transparent site we have included the negotiations after the break! Hmm, this post I notice isn't piratey enough... um, avast! Give me ye grog ye scurvy sea barnacle!

What do pirates do when ye boat is sinking? Ye puts a patch on it, grab ye grog, and sail on to adventure! After the sinking of the SS Sydneigh earlier this week, some raucous raiders patched her up and rechristened her the SS SalvageCon!
Featuring all sorts of booty for folks that had already signed up for Sydneigh, the one day event is hoping to make up for the money spent by attendees on the original convention. At the moment the organizers are paying for the event out of their own treasure so spread the word if ye can buckos!

With the new annual getting closer and closer to release an extended preview has been teased by Comic Alliance in hopes of wetting your whistle, ya scurvy bilge rats! Looks like ye can expect some awesome super hero shenanigans out of this one, though a lacking of pirates unfortunately.
