Description: It's been a long, restless week for Equestria's beloved Princess Celestia. With her sister deliriously ill, and magic itself feeling sluggish, the poor mare has been running herself ragged trying to keep the kingdom in order. Thankfully, Donut Joe's Diner is open late, and you can always count on Joe for some good company and great coffee, any time of the day or night.
Here, the regulars all know her as Sunny Skies; unassuming workaholic mare who hasn't taken a day off in... ever. Well, today's her lucky day. Sunny's about to have one apocalyptically long holiday.

We sat around discussing how to make this sound not creepy for a good 10 minutes, and failed horribly. I guess we will just be creepy today. Blame the hiatus. Luckily we have humanized poinies now, so lets aim for that for most of you (or stick with pony if that is your thing).

Nightmare Two

As many of you noticed yesterday, Sydneigh in Australia ended up cancelling with less than half a month of warning. This sucks for a lot of people. Airlines don't like refunding tickets (and most won't even do it), with hotels joining them via fees and cancellation contracts. The people living over there have decided to make the best of it for those of you stuck with a flight.
PIKA Con is a completely free Mini-con (or a meetup essentially) rising out of the ashes of Sydneigh over on Facebook. The event will take place on a single day in Hyde Park, with the potential for more currently being discussed.
Currently a few of the artists and vendors that were planning on hitting Sydneigh plan to attend, but for the most part this is going to be as YOLO meetup as they go!

Pinkie may be the pro at hosting parties, but she sure does end up in a lot of situations where she can cause trouble. Any plan you make would have to have some sort of Pinkie crashing contingency measure.
