Pinkie Apple Pie Ratings Are In

Ratings for the past weekend have been released for Pinkie Apple Pie. The new episode scored close to 500,000 viewers at the 10:30 slot with ponies pretty much dominating the top ten except for some showing of Littlest Pet Shop. This week was pretty comparable with Rarity takes Manehattan last week which had about 527,000 viewers overall.

The pony tumblr universe never ceases to amaze me with the quality of content they are able to create! I'm sure well after the show has ended we'll still have tons of pony tumblrs to entertain ourselves with for a long time to come.

Giant Pony Statues in China for the Year of the Horse

We have an addition to that earlier article about the Chinese pony stuff that has been popping up.  Apparently Hasbro is going all out over there thanks to the whole year of the horse thing. They even tweeted on the Chinese equivalent of Twitter for bronies to go out and take pictures of it. 

These are a few new images of the display, which appears to have a full on large-scale replica of the castle playset, along with these giant pony figures.  And below is a stand filled with the new year Pinkie Pie toys (found at Toys R' Us everywhere else)

Twilacorn, Fluttershy, and More from Nici

German company NICI has released some information and images on their new plushies and various other things coming out in March.  The big two are the Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle decked out in the whole princess thing..  Fluttershy in particular comes in a few different sizes, including a keychain, 20cm, 30cm, and whopping 50cm variants.

Aside from these two, they have a few new pillow designs on the way, and a snow globe.

We have sort of a mix of SFM style things this time around. First off, get a new Ace Attorney parody starring the greatest equine who has ever lived, because Trixie is totally a law pony. After that, find a scene breakdown to that ridiculously heart attack inducing Trix are for Kids thing showing off how to do the lighting/scenery from within. Discussion: What Celebrity Would You Like to See Invade MLP?

Digging into the oldschool, I bet a bunch of you have new answers for this one!

Our hypothetical Hasbro exec just drove up to you in his diamond plated golden limousine and rolled down the window.  He hands you a piece of paper and drives off.  It's a blank MLP:FIM themed check with a wingless Twilight on it, and has a section for a "celebrity name".  Putting two and two togeather, you realize this guy wants to apologize for the drama in 2013 and let you hire whoever you want for season 5 of the show.  Yep, that's exactly what happened.

Anyway, pick a celebrity, any celebrity.  It can be as aweful or as amazing as you want.  This celebrity will make a cameo appearance in a two part episode as either him/herself or a pony.  It's up to you! Money buys you anything after all, and that blank check is just asking to nuke someone's budget.

CCCC Charity Event Final Phase Begins

The final phase of the Combined Community Charity Challenge has begun! According to the update, a whopping 1,500 people have contributed in the first phase.  If you want to contribute for some good ol' charity, head on over here for information on it!
