Story: The Monster Below (Update Sequel!)

[Sci-Fi][Dark] That image is straight up creepy!

    Author: Greenback
Description: One of Equestria's greatest traits is tolerance. Every pony, whether Unicorn, Pegasus, or Earth, is accepted for who they are, and have their own parts to play in keeping Equestria running.

But what if an Earth pony decided he didn't want to play his assigned part? What if he wanted to rise above everyone else, and become an Alicorn? Such a thing is possible...but the path to fulfilling one's dreams is never simple. Risks must be taken. Sacrifices must be made. And the question is always asked: How far would you go to get what you wanted? And would you be willing to pay a terrible price to get it?

Story: There Goes the Neighborhood (Update - Interlude 2)

    [Comedy][Adventure]

    Author: Prak

Description: When Canterlot pays the price for one of Twilight Sparkle's greatest mistakes, hundreds of refugees from the ruined city are stranded in Ponyville. Can the princesses maintain order in the overcrowded town, or will the combination of clashing cultures, Discord's antics, bad luck, and the machinations of a criminal mastermind send it spiraling into chaos?

Story: Vee for Vendetta (Update Part 8!)

    [Comedy]

    Author: Melon Hunter
Description: "The nine most terrifying words in this language are: ‘I'm from the government and I'm here to help.’”

Veggie Vee is the model bureaucrat: enthusiastic, motivated, and absolutely enamoured with setting the world to rights from the safety of her desk in Canterlot. Being assigned to Ponyville to save her job, therefore, wasn't exactly on her to-do list.

The local citizens aren't too happy about it, either. What should have been a simple poster campaign against unhealthy eating swiftly becomes a war of attrition. An incompetent underground resistance attempts to foil her every move and Veggie's latent megalomania isn't helping. Princess Twilight is nowhere to be seen, and an explosion-happy, candy-loving sugar freedom fighter is on the loose.

Everything is about to spiral out of control...

Story: Enter Nurse Luna! (Update Part 9!)

    [Comedy][Slice of Life]

    Author: Foxy Kimchi
Description: It is that time again, the dreaded flu season. Not even Princess Celestia, the ruler of the sun and day, is safe from it. When Celestia contracts the flu, what pony could possibly nurse Celestia back to health? Why none other than her dear, loving sister of course! Enter Nurse Luna!

Story: Scootaloo Dies a Bunch (Update Part 30!)

[Comedy] "Scootaloo will die, and you will laugh. A lot." - Pre-reader TheSlorg

    Author: alexmagnet
Description: Scootaloo may just be the world's most unfortunate filly. She gets the short stick on everything. Of course, it just so happens that that short stick will always entail dying. It's a good thing she doesn't seem to notice that she dies a lot, otherwise things might start to get a bit complicated.

    --
Short vignettes which reimagine each episode of MLP such that Scootaloo dies in increasingly spectacular and insignificant ways.

    Story: Subjunctive (New Part 17!)

    [Adventure]

    Author: Integral Archer
Description: The subjunctive is the verbal mood of abstractions and possibilities. To ponies and their indicative-based language, it is a frightful mood, awkward and unwieldy. To changelings and their language of nearly inaudible shrills, it is indispensable.

Equestria’s inhabitants are a diverse race, no two the same color, who speak a language of concretes. But to Errenax, a changeling linguist well-versed in both languages and fascinated by their dimorphism, everything about them intimates a singular notion: that this division of moods and language is perhaps deeper than it appears.
