Well well, looks like we’ve got some ponies who are VERY excited for this year’s Everfree Northwest! Twilight tries to plan the perfect weekend at Everfree Northwest, but there's simply too much to do and no way to fit it all into her tight schedule!

We’re excited to finally present the first of what will become a series of video promos featuring your favorite ponies on their quest to make Everfree Northwest 2014 the BEST WEEKEND EVER!

Everfree Northwest 2014 Charity and Donation Drive

Everfree Northwest is proud to announce that we will again be hosting a Charity Auction on behalf of the Seattle Children's Hospital. Last year $21,070 was raised from over 200 items during this exciting and wonderful event, and the staff here at Everfree Northwest have continued to be impressed by the creativity and generosity of the MLP:FiM fandom. That’s why we are looking for your help once more to make this year’s Charity Auction the best one yet!

If you have a unique or spectacular item you would like to donate for the Everfree Northwest 2014 Charity Auction, you can do so by going here. Please email Jamie Petersen (Bright Side) at charity@everfreenw.com if you have any questions.

Make your input known! Spike Firemane, known for both his carvings and for his giving nature, will be donating a charity carving for the EFNW 2014 Charity Auction. He would like to hear what you guys, the community, think he should carve for it. You can vote from a selection of three characters: Dr. Whooves, Bon Bon, or Mare Do Well by going to the link here. While you’re at it, be sure to check out some of Spike Firemane’s awesome work on his DeviantArt. Voting will conclude on March 31st, this coming Monday, at 11:59 PM PST.

If you wish to watch last year’s EFNW Charity Auction which sold a number of items including a Twilight Sparkle, a pendent necklace by Silver Slinger (formerly Chaotic Brony) which sold for $2,100,and Sunrise in Equestria which is an original oil painting by Cosmic Unicorn that sold for $2,750, it is available for viewing on YouTube.

MLP-MSP is Giving Everyone Wings With its Charity

(MINNEAPOLIS)—We are excited to announce that we are soaring to new heights with our charity this year by sponsoring the organization Give Us Wings.

As part of our efforts, $2.00 of every badge sold will be going to Give Us Wings. We will also host a charity auction to benefit Give Us Wings. More information on the charity auction will be released at a later date.

Give Us Wings is a nonprofit organization that works together with adults and children in Kenya and Uganda to eradicate poverty. The approach to their methods, according to their website, follows:

“The Give Us Wings’ approach is one of transformation, rather than merely direct aid. Give Us Wings works with community-based organizations to identify areas of need and to select specific projects and programs designed to address the unique challenges presented to those communities. Give Us Wings has developed strong, long-term relationships with the members of our partner communities. Give Us Wings funds community development projects, provides financial assistance and training for economic self-sufficiency, and funds educational costs and medical services for adults and children in Kenya and Uganda. The ultimate goal of all our projects and programs is to empower our partners so that they can advocate for themselves and develop the knowledge and skills necessary to manage the projects independently.”

For more information about the Give Us Wings charity, visit our charity page. Additionally, give Us Wings will be hosting their 15th annual celebration and silent auction will be Saturday, April 12, at A'BULAE in downtown St. Paul, Minn., so check them out if you’re a local! Also, don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Twitter to be the first to hear our updates. We look forward to seeing you at Minneapolis June 6-8!
