BABScon 20% Cooler Flash Sale Reminder

It's hard to believe that Season 1 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic started over three years ago. In fact, one of the classic fan favorite episodes, "Suited for Success", first aired three years ago this week, on February 4th, 2011.

Though the episode was about Rarity's dress-making hassles, it's best remembered by the fans for the iconic catch phrase that Rainbow Dash says when asked about her gala dress. Since then, we see it everywhere, from t-shirts to bumper stickers. If you've been around the fandom for a while, you know that we think the show we love is at least "20% cooler" than the rest.

Join us, friends, as the team here at BABScon salutes this historic idiom, and reminds everyone that this year's BABScon is sure to be an awesome time. This February 4th, for one day only, all of BABScon's memberships will be 20% off when you use the code "20%COOLER", including our top tier Noble Pony or Big Bad memberships.

Check out http://www.babscon.com/registration/ to sign up today and learn more about all the membership levels and associated goodies.

    Amy Keating Rogers at MLP-MSP

(MINNEAPOLIS)—Amy Keating Rogers, writer of today’s episode “Pinkie Pride,” will be gracing us with her presence at MLP-MSP this June.

Rogers is an accomplished writer who earned four Emmy nominations for “Powerpuff Girls” and has written for many other animated-TV series such as “Samurai Jack,” “Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends” and “The Fairly Odd Parents.”

For the show “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic,” Rogers wrote the lyrics for some of Pinkie Pie’s most memorable songs, most notably “Smile, Smile, Smile,” bringing great depth to the little party pony we all love.

Also you may have noticed that our three-day badges are still available at discounted price. This is no mistake! We have extended our first pre-registration discount through 11:59 p.m. (CST), Monday, Feb. 3, in celebration of the great episode that aired today. So register now because there won’t be any more extensions for this sale!

For more information about guests appearing at MLP-MSP, visit our guest page.  Also, don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Twitter to be the first to hear our updates. Keep smiling and we hope to see you bring the party with you to Minneapolis June 6-8!
