  • Very Random Merch: Poppin' Tags Shirt

I honestly don't know what to make of this.  Does it mean I'm getting old? Is this a line people use now?

Found at a Target in Georgia by Brooklyn.
  • Wallpaper Compilation #102

See? Look how happy Twilight is flying around above the clouds.  Imagine the incredible amount of research she can accomplish with a built in airplane on her back?

And as an added note, remember to click the source links for the full size papers! I better not see any pixely "post your desktop" threads!

  • Equestria Daily, Fanfiction, and You: Feedback and Response to Authors

Way back in April, we conducted a survey regarding how good a job Equestria Daily handles fanfiction. One of the issues we addressed therein was how quickly the pre-readers responded to authors sending in their stories, so today we have some changes to announce to those of you looking to send stuff in.

    • Rejection notices will be limited to a list of bullet points.
    • Rejected authors will be welcome to ask for clarification.
    • The "three strike" rule for story submission will remain in effect and unchanged.
    • These changes go into effect tonight at PST 12:00 AM, September 9th.

Please refrain from throwing your lit matches on the gasoline-soaked haystack we just built. We hope to put out some fires below the break.

  • Drawfriend Stuff #919

I honestly have no words for this.

Get some art while I reformat by brain.

  • Animation: Lyra - The Big Secret

Lyra is a pony of many talents, with multi-dimensional espionage being one of them.  Have an animation dedicated to Secret Agent Lyra below the break.

  • The Top Ten Pony Videos of August 2013

The more I look around at other fandoms, the less I see of stuff like this.  It's kind of amazing how creative the pony fandom is overall.   We really do bust out a load of custom pony content to break up the episode haituses.  I wonder why?

Anyway, get your top 10 pony videos of August below!

  • Comic: Magic Duel / Blank Flank / Submerged Secrets / Twilight's First Date

Magic duels, Cutie Mark Crusaders Vs. Chrysalis, Windwaker, and a multiparter start with some adorable Twi.  Click for full as always!

  • SFM: Miskovsky - Still Alive (Mirrors Edge)

It's about time Mirrors Edge got some extra love with the pony world.  The animation is a bit on the stiff side, but it gets pretty cool near the middle to end mark.  Check this SFM rendition of Still Alive out below the break!

  • Will Anderson - No One Will Be Disappointed

MLP Composer Will Anderson tossed this up on his Deviant Art journal page.   Can you handle the hype? Cause I can't.  Why is season four still so many months away?
  • Newbie Artist Training Grounds III - Day 24

My profession!? Well, now that you mention it, I always wanted to be a baker. But that is out of order. Objection! Overruled! By what? By another 222 ponies and their lawyers. Also, you look really crazy talking to yourself in front of the internet. Ah, welcome back everyone! I return to the saddle of this legendary steed to ride us to the gates of Valhalla! I am so far beyond confusing my imagery that I don’t even know where I am right now. But what does that matter, when our extra 24 late entries from last night give us a grand total of 8466 images? Didn’t think so.

Ok, let’s get our serious faces on. We’re here with just a week’s worth of prompts to go, only a few more galleries left to create and peruse. The goal is in sight, guys! Don’t look away! The time will come for us to look back over things, but it is not this night. The time will come when we put away our supplies, but it is not this night! Keep moving forward, everyone. You’ve come this far with me. You can go just a little further.

This message serves as notice that one reader (hereafter referred to as ‘you’) has been handed one [gallery of ponies]. It further serves notice that the ponies contained therein are awesome mares and stallions of justice, tipping the scales in favor of artists throughout the land. You have until whenever, really, to look over it and note the improvements many artists are starting to demonstrate, and hopefully leave them comments to that effect, or else face the mighty wrath of a tickle feather. Or not. But it would be a nice thing to do, you know?

All right, enough silliness for a little while (who said that?). It’s time to move on to our next theme. You’ve probably noticed by now, but the final stretch is about having fun as much as it is anything else, but it’s also about taking another step forward on the road to where we want to be. So tonight, Draw a pony facing their destiny/Draw a pony on ‘the date’. Submit all entries here by 11:59 PM, Pacific time on Sunday, September 8th.

    ...Yes, a baker.
