Just in case you wanted a song version of what exactly goes on during pony conventions, Random Encounters has released their second song, grabbed a whole bunch of people and filming various aspects of a con.

PMV And SFM: The Moon Rises / Do you really have to go?

We have a sort of mixed media post for you all this time around.  First off is a PMV Dedicated to The Moon Rises, with a whole bunch of vector animation thrown in to really bring the song to life.  If you are a Luna fan, you should probably check it out.

And in the second slot, we have a source film maker animation. It's in Czech with subtitles, but it's a pretty neat engineer and Applejack dialogue piece.

Gameloft Responds to Crazy Pony Prices

A while back, Cnet tossed an article up about the gem prices in the My Little Pony game.  Apparently Gameloft saw it, and there response pretty much boiled down to "What crazy prices?". We saw a price drop in Rainbow Dash, but that doesn't make the game any more completable.  As Cnet points out, collecting all the ponies would take... 10 years.

I don't know about you guys, but I think we'd have better luck kickstarting to buy the pony license and hire a company to create a high budget pony game without a million micro transactions in 10 years time.   Can you imagine some Bethesda ponies? Cause I can. 600k for a documentary, I bet we could raise a few million for a game!

TV.com Best Animated Series Poll

TV.com is running a best animated series poll, with pony joining some of the major players in the animation industry up at the top. 

There are some pretty epic contenders here.  I think pony is barely ahead of The Last Airbender form me.  If Airbender had cute ponies I'd be doomed.

You know what to do! Go make pony win the best show of 2012!

Update: Apparently this poll is insecure as hell.  Hopefully they fix it! 

Game: Pony Tactics: Salvation Trailer

I admit, I'm a sucker for tactics RPG's.  Everything from Disgaea to Heroes of Might and Magic III can have me sitting at a computer/TV For hours. It looks like an interesting looking pony one is soon to join them!

Pony Tactics is in the Pre-alpha development phase, so it looks like engine is working, but it still has a load of things to do before it's ready to play, It's still neat to see their progress so far though!
