• Silent Movie and Autographs My Little Pony Project Event Videos + Images (Update - Part 2 of Video Added!)

We have received a ton of cool stuff based around the event yesterday from a bunch of different people.  It looks like everyone had a blast!  I'm sure you are all curious about what exactly went down though.  It looks like the event turned almost con level numbers.  Those lines are epic!

After the break, you will find a whole pile of images and videos of the event. Since this was technically a no-film event inside the actual theater, we are only able to post approved images, but I'm pretty sure you all will get a good feel for what exactly went down.

A couple of cool notes people sent in:
    • It sounds like the actual script for the live reading (Video quality pretty low, but you can squeeze some out if you listen hard enough!)  was an extended version of the Hearthwaming Eve episode.
    •  The people that didn't get there in time for signatures got blindbags instead.
    • Pony Voice Actors are best celebrities.

Anyway, check the videos, Images, and Socal meetup out after the break!

    Socal Brony Meetup:

On top of the event, the Socal group decided to organize a giant meetup around it.  Have some copy paste below!:

The SoCal bronies group today had a meetup at the My Little Pony Project 2012 screening and autograph event, at the Cinefamily Silent Movie Theater and the Toy Art Gallery, in Los Angeles, CA. There were two showings for the screening, at 12 noon and at 2, and many of us attended the earlier one. The special guests included writer and current showrunner Meghan McCarthy, and most of the main voice cast, including voice actresses Tara Strong, Andrea Libman, Ashleigh Ball, and Cathy Weseluck.
This was an extremely awesome event. It started with a live reading of the script for the episode, “Hearth’s Warming Eve,” and yes, they even pulled one very, very, lucky somepony from the audience during each of the sessions to read for the part of Rarity, alongside the voice actresses! This was super super awesome, and it was amazing to see and hear these amazingly talented voice actresses perform their craft in front of a live audience! For the record, the girl who they picked to read for Rarity during the earlier session also did a great job, so many props to her!
After the live reading, they aired the actual episode of “Hearth’s Warming Eve”, which also was pretty awesome to watch it on a movie screen, with an entire theater of other fans! They even had us sing along for the Hearth’s Warming Eve carol at the end of the episode!
After that, we all walked over to the Toy Art Gallery, which was only a few streets over to eagerly await the autograph session with the show staff. Luckily, we got there early and were at the front of the line. The turnout was massive, as would be expected with any event featuring the show’s staff. There was a good deal of line waiting, but of course for us, it was well worth the time spent!  All the production staff and voice actresses are super nice and really genuinely love their fans! I was really glad to meet them, get their autographs, and tell them how much I love their work!
After the autograph session ended and the special guests exited, there was a reception at the Toy Art Gallery for people to see the exhibit, enjoy refreshments, and purchase cool pony stuff.

After the reception, a bunch of the SoCal bronies members had dinner at, fittingly enough, the famous Canter’s Deli on Fairfax (the coincidence of the pun was not realized until after we had decided to go there lol.)

All in all, it was another great meetup, and we enjoyed having the opportunity to meet and interact with the wonderful talent from the show!

    Your Faithful Brony,

    CurryKatsu (Jeremy)
