  • YTPMV: Gummi's Valley / Mares of Symponya / Pinkie's Lie At The Gala

    by Sethisto

    I actually bought Banjo and Kazooie a while back on xbox live, but only made it to the snow level.  Back in the day, I could blow through those games, but with my newfound OCD, I have to collect EVERYTHING and burn out.

    What a shame.  I guess that's what YTPMV'S of it are for!

    1.) Gummi's Valley
    2.) Mares of Symponya: Lloyd's theme
    3.) Pinkie's Lie At The Gala

      @Mesmer Wolf

      Fallout: New Vegas has been absorbing all my time. There's so much to find in that game.

      The third one is ear-splittingly high-pitched...

      Makes Fluttershy seem like a chipmunk.

      1.Can't really comment on this one since I haven't played it that much. I think I played it at a koisk when it came out but didn't get it.

      2. I swear that fits perfectly to Lloyd's theme in Symphonia. My old love and my new love is fused into one perfectly. I also beat this game about 20 times or so trying to get everything in the game. I did so.

      3. Nice job with this but I can't listen to it oven and over again for some reason right now. It is good though.

      #1 was good, but I never played the game.

      #2 also good, but again, I never played the game.

      #3 is my favorite of this bunch.

      I feel your pain, Seth.

      However, 100% ALL THE GAMES!

      Because my OCD combined with my stubborn nature commands it.

      Oh the nostalgia... Tales of Symphonia introduced me to the whole Tales series, and I may have beaten it at least 10 times... but I still say Tales of the Abyss is my favorite by far. YTPMV sounds good too. =P

      And that desert level in Banjo-Kazooie was evil, but for whatever reason, I liked that tomb where a ceiling falls on top of you if you don't race through the maze fast enough. Was kinda difficult to get 100% of the items in the stage due to dying of stupidity, quicksand, heights, etc.. Another good sounding YTPMV as well. :3

      Gummi's Valley was awesome! (Even though he's "Gummy" on the show, I'm pretty sure.) Great video to show to a Banjo-Kazooie fan who isn't a brony yet.

      The other two are pretty good too, although I'm not familiar with the songs they're YTPMVing.

      @Jordan

      The name of the song is "Gobi's Valley", so it's a combination of that and "Gummy" - "Gummi's Valley".

      I would say go play Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, but that game pissed on a once awesome franchise. The one saving grace would be the music, my god the music. Seriously go Google "Banjoland HD" and listen to glorious music. It's basically all the Banjo-Kazooie themes redone in orchestral quality and is by far some of the greatest video game music ever! Freeze easy peak and rusty bucket bay never sounded so incredible!

      @MyBoyJI installed so many mods in that game that it took me almost an hour to load my save. Resetting mods fixed it but still a pain and back to an hour in no time.

      Now I can beat the game easily.

      Speaking of Banjo Kazooie and Ponies, anyone else notice the similarity between that one track in the Nightmare Night festival and the Mad Manor music? It's the part where Twilight and Spike are first walking up to the fest.

      Tales plus Pony = Mind Blown

      The only thing that could be better is an actual "Tales of Equestria" game starring the mane cast.
