These are some pretty good Lyra stories. No sign of Triple X, though, but I can forgive that since we just got a new chapter recently. I'll catch up on these in the meanwhile.

ReplyDeleteBecause I sent a chapter in as the "final" one while barely alive after being awake for two very busy days ¬_¬ That and I don't know from chapter to chapter whether I'm going to do any more. It's very episodic.
@karrotline You thought wrong. Judging from the author's comments it doesn't look like it's ending any time soon.

ReplyDeleteSome stories are like that. They start off with what seems a simple and succinct premise, but then bloom into something unexpectedly deep and dynamic. Reading My Little Alicorn has been that way for me. I'm thoroughly enjoying it, but am amazed at how long it's become.

Hearing this gives me mixed feeling, on the one hoof everything I've heard of it says that it deserves to be as long as possible, but on the other hoof I want to read but am currently maxed on incomplete stories, still on the third hoof actually I don't have another point but weighing option on hooves is so much more fun the hands since I can do that and not have it sound weird. :)

I think the author said that the first 10 chapters were just backstory and that the current "arc" is the story he actually set out to write.

I will continue to wait faithfully for updates, however long it may get - the more the better. :) truthfully, I am a little scared about where it's going thus far (Lyra is so innocent! the human world is irredeemably perverse and evil! CAN this end well??) but will stick with it to the end for sure.
