John Patrick Lowrie was just doing some fans a nice favor, but I doubt he's seen the show. That could change, though, if he sees this video and the comments and stuff.

ReplyDeleteI...I'm not sure what to think about that letter, at least it wasn't yellow and slightly soggy.
ReplyDeleteI dunno, all I ever hear when I listen to these voice actors (and by these, I mean pretty much only Lowrie and... whoever voices Duke Nukem, I forget) read brony messages is just hollowness. They have no idea what any of this is about, or if they do, they're not actually interested, they're just doing simple fan service. And that kind of makes me feel a little more sad than if they had just not read them.

ReplyDeleteI cracked up laughing at this - kept the nice bit of sarcastic cynicism I love about the sniper, well voiced if not a bit unintelligible, and of course there's the crossover. Even if he had no idea what he was really saying, it's damn awesome that he did it for the fans. Love it when VAs do that.

ReplyDeleteJust because they don't seem interested in the show doesn't necessarily mean it's by choice. Professionals in their line of work usually keep pretty busy with their careers, so they wouldn't have a whole lot of spare time for checking out or becoming fans of other entertainment they're not professionally involved in.
Being a brony is a luxury not everyone can afford!

That was a lot of fun, but I still don't wanna go for TF2. I tried it for three hours, and I got my ass handed to me so many times I felt really guilty. I love Valve, but TF2 is impossible for me ^_^;
