Yeah, it's another drunk pony story. But I still found it very funny. Especially with Twilight being involved; the last pony I would think to put in the same sentence with 'wasted.'

ReplyDeleteGreat story, though I feel like it could use a comedy tag. I especially like the use of salt instead of alcohol. Great callback to the salt bar in Appleloosa.

I did like the story for the most part, but that ending feels like you just stopped typing midway through a scene.

ReplyDeleteThat was kind of the point. I wanted to give it less of an "And everything gets put back to normal" and more of a "What'll happen next?" feel.
As long as I at least get a grin from you, I feel I've done my job.

ReplyDeleteThis story did seem a bit random at points, but I did love the description at the beginning of Twilight's hangover.

Well, I didn't want to dwell on that all too much, I basically figure a reader's gonna go "Okay, she's shit-faced, I get that, but is there anything else to this?"

ReplyDeleteWell the only "Adult" (that's an incorrect term, "mature" is better) situations that one can put the ponies in that are not already to an extent dealt with in canon is to:
1: Get them drunk/high
2: Get them laid
3: Get them killed
Right now there's way too much of 3 and 2 is getting really creepy these days.
Bring on the wasted ponies.
