And if you want to get a head start on Valentines Day, a store called King Swoopers currently has MLP Valentines in stock. It looks like everything is still using the same vectors. It's a shame we don't get some new ones!

Pony invades pretty much every form of merch. If you can fit a picture on it, they probably have a Rainbow Dash version. For all of you starting a new semester after Winter Break, these are floating around right now. The actual store wasn't listed, but they exist... so I guess it's hunting time!

For some reason, I don't think anyone in my neck of the woods carries these. I'll still keep my eyes peeled; with all the random stuff in my room, I'm sure a Fluttershy notebook wouldn't look out of place.

ReplyDeleteIf you're wondering, King Soopers is just the name Kroger goes by in Colorado and Wyoming. I don't think these would be too hard to find.

ReplyDeleteI want the notebooks, but I can't get one here. And even if I could, I know with complete confidence that the paper in them will be complete crap.
And life is too short for bad paper.
Of course there's none of me in merchandise. Couldn't even give me a brushable let alone a notebook, nor am I in the puzzle. I'm starting to feel that nopony in Equestria save my sis' loves me...
ReplyDeleteI'd LOVE those notebooks but with the exception of baby Pinkie Pie and the basic toys, I can never find anything but G3 junk around me (coloring books, bandages, fruit snacks etc) I live in the states so I wouldn't think finding G4 paraphernalia would be that challenging.... :/

I should get those cards and send them to random people in my neighborhood. Either they will daaaw or freak out from the extra love. It's too bad an act like that would probably be considered "weird" or even "disturbing" nowadays. Perhaps I should hold off on the pony dispersal plan, how do you guys think people would react?

and the ponies of Equestria appreciate your wonderful night sky. It's the Equestrian marketing department that seems to be biased. Perhaps we in the brony community should express our desire for Luna-based merchandise?
The Notebooks are manufactured and sold in Brazil, I've found some in a Walmart in São Paulo, I bought the Twilight one.

ReplyDeleteWhereas up until recently I was pondering how I might contribute my bits to the pony cause via official merch, the recent confirmation of Hasbro's change-of-heart towards sharing episodes has considerably dampened my enthusiasm. Considering the mediocrity and regular show-inaccuracy, I'm wondering if I even care about their merch anymore.

future if Hasbro realizes the massive demand for it. That's
what I'm saving most of my bits for. I see no reason to
be angry at Hasbro for stopping the uploads, though if
they begin to aggressively attack fan-made videos because
they have episode clips in them, well than that's a whole new
problem.

ReplyDeleteThis merch is manufactured by Tilibra, and I think it is currently avaliable only in Brazil. I know these things because I work on said store where I shot the photo of those notebooks.
ReplyDeleteKing Soopers is also the same grocery store as Kroger, Ralph's, and Smith's so any of those might have the merch.

ReplyDeleteI *need* either that Dash or Fluttershy notebook! The Fluttershy one would match with my Fluttershy bag that arrived yesterday from WeLoveFine. (: It makes a great college bag and I need notepads too so these would be amazing! But as much as it would match, Dash is my fave... I want ALL the notepads!!
