I was already disappointed this week that the Hub didn't release any kind of preview for the new episode... You'd think with the long break they'd want to advertise that new episodes were resuming. If I missed the Drawfriend on top of that...
Well, okay... the new episode would soothe me either way.

ReplyDeleteWow...that's...funny, and yet also rather sad...though I was almost panicking at first when I saw the comic because I thought, for the briefest of moments, that Pinkie had hung herself or something...a violent image I hope never to see uncensored on EQ Daily. (Or at all, preferably.)

You know. Skittles scare the ever-living crap outa me since their current bizarre ad campaign started. Case in point, this comic could LEGITIMATELY be a Skittles add. In fact if this comic was completely live action acted out with humans it would be 100% less bizarre than most Skittles commercials:

ReplyDeleteI do agree with you, Pegasus. A formal introduction would be best and I'll talk to Seth about the possibility of making one after he returns from the convention.
I made a brief introduction in the third week compilation for the December Draw Off, but it really doesn't answer many questions I'm afraid. Hopefully I can shed some more light on who I am in the near future so I'm not the blog author in the shadows.
In the meantime, it is a pleasure to meet you. I hope I can make a positive contribution to EqD and the great community here!
Somewhere, miles away, you can hear the faint scribblings of a pencil writing a pinata grimdark fic. I give a week at most. Anypony agree?

Ever read the VG Cats comic for it? The game should have gotten an M-rating for that.
Comic strip "strip_id=227" I believe, horrorfying yet quite a reality for such a cute fantasy world.

ReplyDeleteRodrigo was just your ordinary Piñata, until he was chosen to be a young filly's birthday show. As it was useal for every other Piñata to want a home of their own after leaving the factory. He was taken out the following day for what would have been the best day of his life. Until he and a fellow piñata were strung up an the first was beaten until his candy inwards were eatin by these, cannabilistic ponys. He feared for his life until a young pink filly asked for him. At first the kids booed for their candy loss until she took him down an brought him to her house. "Don't worry I won't let anything happen to you, I'm Pinkie" "I'm rodrigo" he said.

ReplyDeleteI was going to attempt to write what I call "Scraps" (short anecdotes that barely breach 300 words in length yet tell a story) based in FO:E's universe, but now all I can think of is the horrifying life of a pinata and that guy in the skittles advert who was cursed with being able to turn anything he touched into skittles.
