Leeches were actually useful in some situations and can still be used nowadays in medcine.

ReplyDeleteShe's pale and cold because she's anemic due to the leeches sucking out so much of her blood.
That actually happened alot back in the olden days... especially when they skipped the leeches and went to straight-on blood letting.
Applebloom has ALL of the leeches. All of them.

ReplyDeleteWhile admittedly brilliant, it's also a bit of an overreaction. As someone who has actually had a leech suckling on their body, it's extremely painful...I pity poor Apple Bloom, having so many on her.
Still funny, but...
Reminds me of that Simpsons episode with Grampa's remedies.
