Just read "Rarity Lives" (a fic where she dies of cancer), cried a bit. And then I read this, and laughed my ass off.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why we have so many "Rarity dies" fics lately, but I guess the fandom just goes through phases like that. Remember the near-obsession with fics about Rainbow Dash breaking her wings/becoming otherwise crippled?
Ah yes. Since Rarity is the current emotional punching bag of choice, this is much needed.

ReplyDeleteBut I was incredibly stoked for a story about Rarity being a disembodied head rolling around screaming "I'M DEAD!!! OH CELESTIA, I'M DEEEEAAAAAAAAADDD!!! OH WOE IS MEEEE!!", followed by everyone running around trying to figure out where her torso got to.
