Summary:
Once upon a time in the land of Equestria... All seemed well on the outside, save for a few unpleasant Parasprite infestations cropping up here and there. But within the walls of Canterlot Castle, it was anything but pleasant. Just days before, the royal sisters received their usual bags of fan mail from their adoring subjects. The younger of the two sisters, Luna, received a little extra in the form of a small brown box, and inside an oddly colored purple jewel hanging from a string; the box was signed "a fan". Shortly thereafter, Luna began acting strange; She would neither eat nor sleep. She wouldn't even talk to her sister. A day later, she suddenly disappears from the castle without so much of a clop of her hoof on the castle's stone floor. Her elder sister, Princess Celestia, fears the worst and summons the wielders of the Elements of Harmony to her side to aid her in bringing Luna back to the castle... That is, if they can find her... What happened to Princess Luna? Is there a chance that Nightmare Moon could return once more, and what role does the jewel that Luna now wears around her neck play?

ReplyDeleteWhat are you guys talking about with buying this? There's no quicker way to get a Cease and Desist than to try to profit off another big company's franchise in such a direct manner.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, looks like it could be a pretty good game; I'm glad to see another trailer where the developers have a grasp on the gameplay and their limitations ahead of time instead of just showing off tons of art assets and then having terrible mechanics later on. Kind of disappointed that you can't switch party members ever or use all six ponies in the same playthrough, but I guess that's just like the original Final Fantasy.
If Luna was sent back to the moon, NASA would soon follow.

I'm usually pretty bad at RPG's. However, I actually shocked myself and beat FFXIII. So, this RPG is DEFINITELY something I'd be more than WILLING to try. Maybe even do a Let's Play of...

Oh I would so play the buck out of this game. Wish you could use all of the mane 6 though, but I guess the engine has its limits. Definitely great work though! Looking forward to it.

Wow! This cartoon has spawned quite a few decent looking fan made games. Mane6's Fighting is magic and ponyville online to name a few, and now this one. Sweet

ReplyDeleteJRPG's are notorious for making you grind, but some of them are MUCH better designed than others. A good game like Chrono Trigger, where you gain enough power without having to backtrack and farm and still be plenty strong enough to finish the game. I can't wait for one of these amazing pony games to finish, and now this one is no exception~

I would rather like it without the time bar. And also, if the 4 ponies were on screen, not just Twilight. It looks more fancy that way.
