I think that Green Grapes and Daisy have been together enough that they should be the hetero equivalent of Bon Bon and Lyra. They look cute together.

this player is horrible
ReplyDeletenot complaining, just giggling at the fact that twilight grew up in Canterlot, and the rest of the cast has been there three or four times, with Fluttershy possibly having gone there one more time with Photo Finish, and they still go "oooooohhhh" when they see it.

ReplyDeleteThe video player works it's just really slow and loads a couple of seconds at a time. Either be prepared to wait like 7 minutes or just skip this clip.

But seriously, where'd the train to Canterlot come from? This is the only time I've been bothered by anything that's mysteriously popped up in the show that shouldn't be there. I mean there's ARE trains (Appleloosa and Ponyville of recent) but they managed to get a line all the way to Canterlot while going through a mountain! Only answer to that would be that Celestia had a hoof in it's construction.
Also, did anyone notice the rich couple at the trainstop? They had their heads almost 90 degrees up! Talk about stuck up!

ReplyDeleteRe: technology, I think it's a mixture of several different times of technologies. For example, they have guns, electricity, steam trains, and tanks, among other things. But they don't have things like internal combustion engines, cars, planes, computers, TV, radio, ect. So it looks like it's a mix between having some modern tech, but not the really... "futuristic" tech.

ReplyDeleteBTW they didn't even have snow for winter wrap-up. I imagine it's just an effect they can put over all the other animation once it's done... Also, the other animation is ornate; it looks like they put lots of work into everything. The FIM team has outdone themselves again!
@DJ-PinkaminaSince they put a song in almost every episode, I'm 120% sure there will be one.(and a past new of Equestria Daily said that the song was arleady broadcasted)
