A long time ago, Jackle App released a song on his soundcloud titled "Scootaloo's Wings", and acoustic track about Scootaloo struggling to gain the attention of her idol while lacking the ability to fly.
Some time later, Tarby came out with "The Wings You've Earned", which uses the same riff and an updated set of lyrics, but omits the detail that the song is about Scootaloo.
Recently, Tarby remastered the song and added a few more lines to the lyrics.

ReplyDeleteOh I'm sure most of us knew it was originally by Jackle. Though I prefer Tarby's version more. Which is one reason that's the version I linked. The other was because that post also links to Jackle's version. :)

ReplyDelete@Qazarar Tarby usually only puts obscure references to the show in his songs. There are some exceptions though, and I'm not sure if this one counts.
