Normally the first human (or pony in this case) victim/ Patient Zero in a zombie story is a very minor character – or even a completely new character. Therefore I was quiet surprised by your choice, it was shocking and cruel. Good work.
ReplyDeleteYou certainly aroused my curiosity. Why’s Applebloom in the town? Who’s that strange filly? How’s the rest of Equestria doing? And the biggest question: What happened to Pinkie after her first run-in with a zombie. I guess she either turned into a badass zombie killer or she went cupcakes. Considering how the story started the last one seems to be more likely but I still have hope.
Love it! I don't know what it is about post apocalyptic ponies, but ... LOVE IT.
ReplyDeletethe only thing that gets me is the thought that fluttershy had NEVER had a patient die on her before.. that jsut rubbed a bit wrong.

I would like to see someone do a Earth and Equestria story involving humans and ponies, and their undead equivalents.

I like the time skip between day0 and the Apple Bloom Present, and the ties we have between. Nice work, if happily haunting. Nopony seems to have been forced to make a bad decision (you know, excluding killing undead and/or losing their marbles), but apocalyptic trauma has its way of changing folks...

ReplyDeleteSorry for the Hiatus, I was busy with college and just general stuff. Plus I just haven't been arsed to do it. But after seeing the awesome response from you guys AND a video on youtube of a READING?
ReplyDeleteHard to NOT write it, so I'll begin writing Chapter 5 soon. It'll probably be done/ready for people to read in about... Oh, a week or so. Depending on my free time. (My birthday's in four days, too!)
tl;dr Chapter 5 is in the works and should probably be available sometime soon.
