ReplyDeleteOk, #1 is just music, entertaining for a minute or two, but then it got old. #2 was slow and a bit boring at fist, but at around the 3:13 mark it picked up speed and got interesting (big fan of the actual song, btw). #3. wat. I don't even... I mean... Scatman???? RLY? That was the BEST screen name you could come up with?!?!?? I stopped it after 20 seconds of "Scatman's woooooorld!" It. Got. Old. Even ponies can't help that horror... good grief.

ReplyDeleteI really think they did the best for what they had. I do not really think the song fits ponies at all. Scene choice was for the most part, really good, though. You were really trying to set the mood to the song, and it worked as best it could.
I'd be hard pressed to imagine a better pony + bohemian rhapsody video.
#2 is such a win that whenever I hear that song I will think more of ponies than I already do.

#3 Never heard of this before, but it was pretty good. And, I hope that everypony understands that "scat" is a singing style and isn't referring to the other meaning it has come to posses.
#2 Had great synchronization and bring on the hate (or love and tolerate) but it's a bit of an overrated song.

1. Slick overlays half the time, half the time I have no idea what's going on. But this is awesome anyway since it's one of my favorite epic songs.

3. Hee hee, I love this song, and have loved it for years. Now that it's ponified, my life is complete. Again. It's amazing how often my life gets completed when visiting this site.
Actually, in retrospect, Scatman would probably love the sheer amount of joy and communal friendliness generated by the FiM show and fanbase. He'd get a kick out of how something so simple could unite so many people. Especially so when the internet and anonymity tend to generate so much hateful or unreasonably argumentative content.

#3 I'll admit, I've never heard of this Scatman fellow and i was a little skeptical when i first saw the name. Bad thoughts came to mind (sorry everypony), but then i remembered the word "scat" has more than one meaning. Yay vocabulary skills. :P I was rather entertained by this PMV, and I learnd of a new musician that i might look into more. Another good PMV here.
All around this was great. Good to wake up to. :)
