So much music lately. I completely filled the queue for it yesterday. We have Octavia, Pinkie Pie being creepy as hell, and some discord this time around.

ReplyDelete#2 is definitely something that would keep me awake at night, or rather, day, since I'm nocturnal.Well made though, crazy how creepy something can become with some BG music and some stretched words.
ReplyDelete#1 is nice. At about 0:42 it made me think of a part of a Halo game, oddly enough.
The second one was just...*shudder*. I haven't even read the story yet (probably never will), but I know well enough who Pinkamina is and what she entails.

All quite nice, but I especially liked #3. It was kind of playing tricks with my mind. "Follow this melody. Oh, now this one. Now over here. Hey, the first one's back, listen to that one."
ReplyDeleteNumber 2 is almost as effective.at keeping me awake as a certain nocturne by Lowell Leibermann is (nocturne No. 4 op. 38)

Number 3 (which was posted twice, it would seem) LOVE the organ. Definitely seems like a good theme sing for Discord
#1 was... ok. Didn't "feel" very Octavia to me, though that's hardly a useful criticism. Just didn't quite do it for me.
ReplyDelete#2 I listened to 37 seconds of it. What I heard was good, as far as the music goes. Didn't like the subject matter; when are people going to get over that crappy fanfic?
#3 Good, but it feels like it's lacking something. It just needs more content. Could be made longer, could use more/different instruments, or something. If it had more content and more variety, it'd have the oomph it needs to be a great discord song.

First is alright. Gentle and nice to listen to. Wouldn't have minded if it had been a bit more varied or dynamic, but not bad.
